Azahar Mexican Kitchen is looking for hardworking and dependable cooks who take pride in quality, consistency, and teamwork.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other food items according to recipe standards
- Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain proper food portions and presentation standards
- Stock and organize line stations for smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen areas
- Properly label, store, and rotate food products
- Follow food safety procedures and kitchen standards
**Requirements**
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Food Handler Certification required
**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Comfortable working in hot kitchen environments
